Though it leaves a little to be desired, it is nonetheless nice to see the progression continuing.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
What they have done is added the ability to customize the look of your customized Google homepage with a selection of colors, headers, and images. By far the neatest one made available out of the few is the theme &quot;Sweet Dreams&quot; which is a basic landscape with the moon or stars shining. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Once you select the theme, you enter your locale (or a locale in the same timezone as yours for the paranoid), the moon/sun will cycle through the scene in parallel to what you would see out your window (you know, those things that play that weird movie of the &quot;outside world&quot;).&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
To activate it, log on to your Google homepage, and you should see a new link next to your &quot;Add Stuff&quot; button on the bottom-left of the top banner.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Undoubtedly there will be more options in the near future, and hopefully even user-submitted contributions will become available.&lt;br /&gt;
